Checked with my parts dept. and it's true. There's no ZLE wheels available in the pipeline right now and no info from the wheel manufacturer as of when they'll begin backlogging. I would look at getting it repaired to find a private seller. Chances are you'll have to buy a set...

This is not good. There's a possibility I have a bent front but won't know until next week when they can get on the balancer.

So there is literally no idea when wheels will be available again, or even if they will be at all? Seems like a major screwup on a track oriented car.

If you aren't sure about your bend, your wheel is almost certainly repairable. Do not buy a new wheel for $500+

You can spend ~$125 to have it returned to like new condition with an average 1 day turnaround. Lots of good companies do this, I use these guys:

Took mine to a wheel repair shop , Wheel Fix It , they said no problem repairing it 3 day turnaround, I got a new tire coming from tire rack, I figure if it hit hard enough to bend the wheel , maybe the tire was damaged, but you know after we removed the tire from the wheel , we could not find any visable damage to the tire.

It's not a song and dance. I wouldn't ever give out false info on this kind of stuff and especially since I stand the opportunity to sell a product. The reason you got wheels from IAMGMPARTS is because they bought up/stock piled them before the shortage, I suppose you could say that people like them, Phastek, Wildhammer, etc. have caused the shortage. Now what's going to happen is the prices will be raised across the board, unless GM's supplier can quickly get this back in stock/production.

Here are the specs on both wheels. The MRR look identical to the OEM, but are slightly different in specs. Ask for Paul at PKauto, he can answer your questions. Forum member Cleancoupe is running both sets on his and both sets have stock tires,

57.0lbs OEM 19x11 +11 GY R3 (29lbs)
58.6lbs OEM 19x12 +41 GY R3 (32lbs)

56.0lbs MRR 19x10.5 +14 MPS 4S (27.9lbs)
58.2lbs MRR 19x11 +38 MPS 4S (31.5lbs)

Wow, was I wrong. Thanks for the education. I know it is probably complicated, but it seems like GM should figure out a way to keep their dealers better supplied.

Had to wait 3 months on a supercharger belt that was readily available elsewhere for a LT4 that had been out there for a while. I know, why buy belts for a relatively new car but I always keeps a spare set in case something goes sideways in the middle of nowhere.

Also, thought my parts guy was blowing smoke when he wouldn't order OEM tires while on sale because he couldn't get them. Got them online in a week and cheaper than the dealer "sale". Seems like GM is setting up their parts departments for failure and not really inspiring confidence in consumers like me. I like to stay loyal to my dealer because they generally give me good service and prices, but will go elsewhere if needed.

According to the Federal Trade Commission (https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/busi...-used-car-rule) dealers are requirerd to stock parts for cars they sell for 10 years. At least that is what the web site says.

Sorry I don't see any references to 10 year parts availability requirements on that web page.

Can you site the CFR please?
