Spoken like a true Ford Fanboi. It is what fanboys say when their car constantly gets beat.

So all of the records at Indy, VIR, Nurburgring ....none of those matter because by gosh it was a different driver, different day, different seating position, one driver was a fat ass. That the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Oh, the 350 sounds better but it's really hard to hear in the rear view mirror.
Ah the world the ZL1 owner lives in... The one where it's a fair comparison of a super charged motor to a naturally aspirated motor. I mean I get it. The Voodoo is a 500+ hp naturally aspirated motor and so if your a GM guy it has to get compared to the ZL1 and not anything naturally aspirated by GM because well, there's nothing from GM to compare it to. Don't worry GM fans, the GT500 is on it's way. Sadly tho there's still nothing from GM to honestly compare to the R. If GM had a hair on their ass, they'd come back with the Z28, resist the temptation to throw a super charged motor in order to keep its heritage honest, and put an improved LS7 variant in it. Now that would be an honest fun comparison. A guy can dream right?

Good luck with your resale/trade value.

The R can't hang with the regular ZL1 on any track anywhere in the world. The ZL1 1LE is untouchable by the R.

Post 184 at this point is mute & would be applicable if he owned and argued the superiority of his Ford Focus & challenged you to an AutoX of his layout, but we both know it's not what this is about...smh?? Some folks just do not know when to put down the shovel & crawl out.

No, I just don't jerk off to irrelevant magazine times. Nurburgring is 13 miles long. Even 10 seconds there could be affected just by temperature on any single day. Get over yourself and come up with something better than fanboi. Your shit elitist arrogance and attitude are just as bad as the guy you're arguing with over who's car is better. Bunch of insecure little boys. And reading is fundamental, go read my other posts if you want some clarification on how I feel about car brands.

And my car is slower? Yes. My performance pack GT is much slower than a 1LE. A Ford GT is not my car, neither is a ZR1. I'm not a fan of the new GT, I do however love the 06. I'm sure than one is slower than a ZL1 by a wide margin.

It is amazing to me that some people in this world don't think that records mean anything. People like that played T-Ball and didn't keep score because his mommie said so that way he won't get his feelings hurt when he lost.

Record: the best performance or most remarkable event of its kind that has been officially measured and noted.

A record would mean it is the fastest car, and it's not. The Performante is with a 6:40.

And further more, why do I care about their track times? My daddy don't work for GM or Ford, I don't own stock in either, I won't be buying either one of them. Ive owned two corvettes in the past, but I was a Corvette racing fan since the first time they competed in ALMS. My brother is a Flying Lizzard fan and he loves the RSRs, but he also owned a Corvette. You take this brand thing way too seriously. It's just a car, and it's just a company. Take it easy and have a civil discussion.

Owners Kit, Track Attack experience. The R is a special car. I can't see myself letting go of it. My next purchase would have to be in addition to the R.

Fun Factoid: My neighbor has a 17 Z06 A8. He did not go to his offered driving school for it. He regretted it looking back so I offered to take him along on my Track Attack experience. He went and ragged the heck out of a 5.0 while I did the same with a 350. He had so much fun with that 5.0 he bought a 19 Bullitt a week after we got back. So he has a Z06 and a Bullitt next to each other in the garage. I asked him why not a camaro? He simply said he's too short( he's about 5'8") for the camaro and it feels like a dungeon. He never thought much of Ford but the Track Attack with that 5.0 really opened his eyes.
By the way, is your a/c still working?

Fun fact: I've had ac issues with my 2011 5.0 and my 2012 Boss. I hope my 18 doesn't continue the trend.

Yes it is. Not aware of a problem with it. I haven't used it much. I run with the windows down a lot to hear my Voodoo sing. Don't know if you guys knew this but the R exhaust is louder than the regular 350. No resonators in the R exhaust. But it's starting to get hot here in TX so I will use AC more often. Still all stock too. Going to get tint shortly.

You should start writing Fairy Tale books for children.

Dude, come off it. The GT350 is not all that you're making it out to be. And you did not buy one below MSRP unless something was wrong with it, it had too many miles to sell as a "New" car and had to be sold as a "Used" car, or you bought it used with high mileage. And lets set the record straight, for all that you think the GT350R is, the ZL1 is more. For everything that the GT350R does great, the ZL1 does even better. If the GT350R is a surgical scalpel, then the ZL1 is a precision laser scalpel...but faster. So you're not impressing anyone with these stories. Dude has a Z06 but was soo impressed by a 5.0 GT that he went and bought a Bullitt? Are you kidding me?? I test drove an 18 GT with A10 trans...and trust me, any desire I had to buy one was completely gone after I drove my Hellcat back home and then drove my ZL1 to the store. And while you're waiting for 4K RPMs...the ZL1 is blazing past and is gone to the point that there is no catching up. So come off the crack pipe.

And I'm not trying to be mean, but most of us are very well versed in the GT350 AND the GT350R and we would not touch either car. One guy on here bought one and that was just because his ZL1 had way too much HP to be driven on the streets. And he didn't go on and on about it like it was this raving acid trip that you must have been on. I get it. You love your R. And that is cool. But I and the vast majority of us here have no interest in buying one.

For the record, I tried convincing myself to buy one to add to me ZL1 and Hellcat and I just can't buy one of them. Not when the GT A10 is faster in a straight line and the PP2 and SLE can keep up with it somewhat around a track. For GT350R money nothing from Ford but the GT500 should beat it at anything or even come close to it.
