If you buy one and you're interested we can drive each other's cars as mine has a Mamo and I'd love to see the difference.

Mike,
I've read through several of the reviews / comments / forums that have been posted regarding your PTB. I have a few questions for you.. 1: Because of the ECU "learning" procedures, would you recommend that those of us that have not reached the 1500 mile break-in period "wait" to order/install this until afterwards? Not quite sure what's all involved with the "learning" phase, however, if it involves taking the engine >4000 rpm, that would be a problem. 2: I see that a "new" PTB comes with a 1 year warranty. However, I have not found the details regarding what is / isn't covered. Can you either advise or provide a link to the coverage? 3: What type of warranty does one get for the "core exchange" reworked PTB ($275 / $395) option? 4: Are there any group / discount codes for the Camaro6 community? I've been on the fence regarding which PTB to get and yours is now in the running. Thanks in advance.. |

I realize we should update our website with these answers, this is a clear advantage over the competition we have not made clearly available. Thanks for asking, |

I'm a little confused here. The ECM Learn procedure talks about an idle speed of 650 rpm +/- 30 rpm. Yet the stock tune sets the target idle speed at 600 rpm for a fully warmed up engine under normal driving conditions. It looks to me like your TB is just letting more air in at idle thereby forcing the ECM to compensate by increasing the idle speed by 50 rpm. Am I wrong on that?

The advantage of the new part is that it should (in theory) last longer and that you get to keep your stock TB in case you need to sell your car, or car warranty issues, etc. |

Our TB's do not change the idle speed at all. That is for sure. |
