race brakes all around (rears are new this year)

all seats removed and only a kirkey for the drivers seat.

5 lb battery. (new this year)

fiberglass trunk (new this year)

exhaust dumped at axle at track

washer tank and assembly/motors removed entirely (just use rain x and have no regrets)

run at 1/8 to 1/4 tank at track

about all I can think of I think that's it. I weight 240 lbs myself. I could be under 3400 raceweight if I was a smaller guy
Thanks for the run down, I'd love to drop weight on mine but I am trying to keep it looking completely stock. It might be better for me to just add power.

Ultra, LT4 setup likely wi only add 50-60lbs after you factor the stuff that is removed.

I would be carefull running 1/8 to 1/4 tank of fuel, the pumps can and will cavitate with that little of fuel in the tank. I wouldnt go any less than 1/2 of a tank if you are going to race.

Had Plenty of headroom and could have gone farther but I wanted to stay around 650 and not push it too far on the stock internals.

You are using methanol injection, OP wants to avoid that.

KingLT1's fuel setup seems the closest to what Ultra is looking to do. I will mention though that when I had a supercharger on my car last year, I could not find an LPE DI pump to buy, even at Lingenfelter. So besides the crazy costs, there is the problem that sometimes this stuff ends up being vaporware.

Yes they were pretty scarce last year this time. However I didn't have any trouble getting one over the winter.

Would the aux pump instead of the bap offer more fuel?

Yes only up to the high pressure pump and injector limitations though.

The high side has pretty hard limits.

Ted.

Far as I know Ted has never ran them. ADM performance is the only shop I have found that has ran the LPE DI pump with a stock cam lobe. They made 680 whp with a 1LE SS.

Mods:

LT4 supercharger
LPE DI pump
LT4 injectors/low side
Headers

9 psi with full pump E85. They could only get to 620whp with the LT4 DI pump. So it allowed another 60whp of fuel headroom over the LT4. The thread is floating around here, I'll see if I can dig it up.

The Aux pump offers more fuel but a ZL1 in-tank with JMS will take you further then the high side will on a stock cam lobe.
