Weather tech floor mats
Any of y’all have the weather tech floor mats in yalls 6th gen camaro’s? I work in West Texas in the oilfield and I drive my car to the shop everyday and my boots bring a lot of rocks into the floorboard, i drive the car a lot so it’s not a show car or only out on weekends. Idk how great they are though, I just know in trucks they’re great but in a Camaro... Idk about that haha. thanks guys

I've had WeatherTech's in my last 3 diesel trucks, and loved them, but they are a little too stiff and "industrial" looking for the Camaro's interior, IMO.
Also, WeatherTech doesn't offer full protection of the carpet. Depending on your size (how far your seat is pushed back), there could be a large portion not covered in front of the seat. I wear a size 13 shoe and I want complete coverage, as I have a tendency to move my feet around and can see the dust scuffs where the WeatherTechs would leave exposed. I went with the Husky mats and they are awesome. Complete coverage and soft enough to lay flat and form to the curves. Fit like a glove.

My wife had Honda factory "all season" floor mats added to her CR-V here in MN. I told her it was obvious they weren't going to keep water and salt from leaking onto the carpet. We put in a set of WeatherTechs before winter and now she's very glad we did.
So the first thing I added to my Camaro was WeatherTech floor mats, even though I don't drive it in the winter and it never sees anything but pavement. Still bring small rocks into it with my shoes and this way they all stay on the mats instead of getting ground into the carpet. |

I got the Husky X-Act Contour, which is their more luxury all-weather mats. Much better coverage.

Coming from a hardcore Weather Tech fan I have to admit these are much nicer with better coverage and look fantastic in the car. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have Weathertechs in 3 cars including the Camaro. They work swell, although I would look into the Husky.

I have Weathertechs in my 18 Camaro. Work great. Only thing I don't like is the hard plastic feel when wearing sandles and whatnot. I usually pull them out for the summer months

I have them in my 97 Wrangler- they are great. The way the are molded to fit, they capture all the sand, dirt and mud so none gets on the carpet. And when you take them out, the curved edges retain the dirt so it doesn't spill back into the vehicle. The fit well too with the laser cut contour. Before the Weathertech liners in the Jeep I had the small carpeted mats- dirt and sand went everywhere, it was pretty messy. Husky makes floor liners too- I preferred the Weathertech, the surface of them where you put your feet was very rough with large squares- I was worried about my driving heel of my right foot getting caught on the large squares. So I went with Weathertech and love them.
