Here is my build so far
2017 fifty SS 1LE with approx. 20k on her

Bought it stock and have gone this route so far...will add $ for reference

Texas speed 2 inch cat delete long tube headers $800

Custom tune depends on your shop 400-500 bucks i guess. I traded so don't know for sure.

Afe mach force axel back with diamond black 4 inch quad tips. (Kept factory x pipe since its decent and to save on coin. All in installed $1300. I paid a premium to keep the NPP valves and motors since these pipes are CRAZY loud at WOT in track mode. Not bad actually in T. Be cautious these are too loud for some.

Ground effects package from somewhere. NOT the zl1 skirts (I like these better) but definately went with zl1 splitter. $800 bucks all in because it's not carbon fiber. Save a ton there.

Stealth Rear diffuser from zl1 addons $150

Louvers all the way around (plastic not alluminum) so cheap at 150 bucks all in. Ode to the gen 3

Painted the bow ties and the ground effects. Might cost you 500 to have someone else do it for you.

Carbon fiber steering wheel from wildhammer $800. Worth every penny. DO NOT buy cheap one on Ebay. Trust me and don't buy one from SoCal garage works. They sent me the wrong one and never returned my emails. They also have no customer service phone number or address. Had to fight it out with credit card company. Not good business practices and they don't know their products. My experience. Nothing personal.

Carbon fiber accents from next gen speed. Couple hundred bucks for all of it and some floor mats.

Lowering springs from YYZ. Seemed to lower more than the eiback springs. Cost 350. Installed myself.

And of course a red tow hook. Cuz why not?

Pics to Come. Very pleased with everything and should be getting close to 500 hp ( not bad for 5200 feet elevation)

My car has actually been sitting at the dealership for almost 14 weeks due to the EPS Recall. I bought it mid-Feb and had to bring it back a week later. Dealer messed up big time and sold me the car with an open recall.

The first 3 weeks I was given a Chevy Equinox as a loaner. I complained and asked for a more comparable vehicle to what I purchased and they switched the Equinox for a '17 Camaro Convertible.

I learned from reading this forum to makes sure I post up pix and will do so as soon as possible

Finally picked-up my F1FTY! Of course I like it better than the loaner since it has more features and unique!

Also upgraded the bolsters and door vinyl. The interior of these 1ss are super week. Plastic everywhere. Granted indid replace with more plastic in most cases but nicer plastic at least;]

That looks awesome I really like the steering wheel and carbon fiber interior center frame. from where did you get it?......but unfortunately it is not a Fifty. the Fifty has special orange applications.

Haven't posted in awhile, work has been killing me. In Detroit for the next week. Any must see spots for a Camaro/Chevy guy? I went to GM Headquarters yesterday and bought a Camaro shirt from the Company store.



Hoping to make it over to woodward at some point then of course the Ford Museum. It kills me there isn't a Chevy Museum up here.

If you get a chance to have a meal at Vinsetta Garage you will not be disappointed. It’s on Woodward, so keep that in mind if you do make it out to Woodward.

+1 on dropping in at James Martin Chevrolet and meeting Becky and Joe. Also on Woodward, but not the “cruise” part of Woodward.

If you are around on Saturday I am pretty certain that Ken Lingenfelter has started his weekly Cars & Coffee at one of his shops. Can’t go wrong with seeing Lingenfelter’s cars and shops plus all the other stuff that shows up at his C&C. Also, on Saturday there is an F-Body meet up in Auburn Hills, ironically within spitting distance of FCA North America HQ. If you are thinking of making the Lingenfelter C&C or the F-Body meet, PM me and I’ll dig out the details for each. Don’t think I’ll be making either of those so they are not on the edge of my memory.
