ZL1 A10 trade for a 1LE - anyone?
Ok, don't flame me for asking this....
I have owned my ZL1 A10 for about a year, and its been phenomenal. I thought I was going to use it for 13 mile commute and hence the A10. occasional track use. As it often happens life had different plans. I moved jobs and cities. I don't commute via car anymore. So, no need for the A10. At this time I am considering getting a ZLE and use it more for a track car. I am curious if there is anyone on the forum who might be in the opposite situation and looking to trade their 1LE for a ZA10? Maybe its too harsh for you or your life has changed.... Of course, I could trade/sell and buy....but I figured if I have a trade here.....maybe do the transaction via a local dealer and both of us can save taxes? open to all constructive thoughts.... I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I've really considered doing a trade from my manual '19 ZL1 to a (manual) 1LE due to change in plans. Not trying to hi-jack your thread! Surely there are some 1LE owners out there that would like to trade to the non-1LE platform due to ride quality and intentions of use with their car.

Almost there. I would consider trading my '18 ZLE for '19 A10 ZLE.

You could also just track your current car.

agree with RSFR. Have you tracked your current ZL1 to know that you want/need a ZLE 6MT?

Not a lot -about twice. its very capable for sure. I have a dedicated track 997 GTS that I drive. I run red/black groups and have been doing so for last 12 years. So, my thinking was to get 1LE for the suspension mostly - on the track. Anyone who has driven both the cars on a track (not looking for street input) - would love to hear about the experience and time difference....

There are a couple of members who've recently switched from a 1LE M6 to the 1LE A10. I've read posts from at least one other member who'd of got the A10 in their 1LE if it was available when the 1LE came out. The rear view camera standard in the '20 1LE has me thinking about the 1LE over the base ZL1.

BTW - you are deciding between a ZL1 and the 1LE due to a rear camera present or not? |

Oh funny.
I just traded my ZLE M6 for a ZLE A10 yesterday. Not interested in the regular ZL1 (great car, I just want the extras). But it's still interesting to be moving in opposite directions. I bought my M6 because it was the only option for the ZLE, and now I've got the A10 because of daily commute haha Good luck, you'll love the car. |

I still think a non-1LE equipped car would better suite my street use of the car, but I've only seen 1 ZL1-1LE where I live, so it does have a uniqueness to it. |

Now you guys have me thinking- it’s not the M6 I am after - but rather the rest of the 1Le. So maybe go for a A10 LE?
