"Gunfighter Garage" banner looks great. That's a good idea. I gotta get a banner, I need to come up with a logo.

For me the it's all about the experience, learning and doing the most I can myself. I could pay someone that knows more than I do, but I would rather learn and do it myself.

I thought the rule is 9.99 or less on modern cars?

Yes, that is correct, they changed the rules early this year. The new new number is 9.99 or less.

I just checked and YES, 9.99. They changed it again, woooohooo. Back to the old tune. I broke into 10s last year and Tech walked up and said I had to have cage, “don’t do that again tonight”. Sorry for the scare bro.

NHRA changed the rule in September 2018 to specifically allow the newer cars to have performance mods and still be good to 10.00 and 135 without adding a roll bar. Before that, yes if you had some mods on your car, they could ding you for under 11.50.

I am going to get to 135 first, already saw a 134.3. I am thinking it is going to take a 138 to get into the 9s.

Thanks. Spokane is not the fastest track but the guys there are pretty cool and don't harrass you about the small things.
