1LE Wing In Body Color?

I'm going to be purchasing the 1LE Wing for my 2018 ZL1 soon and am considering having it painted Hyper Blue Metallic to match the body color. I have not seen any pictures of this wing in a matching body color (besides black on black, obviously). Does anyone have insight into how this would look? In my head it seems like a good idea but the fact that I never see it makes me think it would end up being ugly...

I have the factory center black stripe as well so I would probably keep that through the center of the wing.

uprights in black, ends in carbon and center section color matched. That would look fantastic

Pratt and Miller did an amazing job on the aesthetics (and of course function) of this wing. IMHO, it truly is a beautiful piece.
The lay up on the CF is spot on.

I recommend that you get a really good look at the exposed CF before you consider covering it. The exposed wing and the exposed heat extractor compliment each other very nicely.

Agree, and if you paint it and decide to sell later that will be very difficult.

This is a good point when considering the GM Wing and pairing with the CF hood scoop. However, I have the gloss black hood scoop and would be purchasing the C7 Wing in gloss black. I can't justify the GM Wing at $5,000, even if it has a significant weight difference.

Weapon X has a couple of different variations of the 1LE Wing. Don't know of anyone who bought one. They are about $800 cheaper than CarbonC7 and about $3.3K cheaper than the OEM one.

I've thought about doing the same thing with my red ZLE, I just cant get myself to cover the carbon fiber OEM wing.

I think it would look great, especially if you do the stripes to match the body of the car.
