CONGRATS
Congrats on the recovery and the car. As far as the sunroof thing goes though that may be a Canadian thing because it is very rare down her in Texas to see a ZL1 with a sunroof. I would be willing to bet that less than 20% of ALL ZL1's have sunroofs.

Congrats on everything man, your story is very awesome.
I’m going to go ahead and assume you ordered from Sherwood Park Chevrolet I’m in Edmonton as well and am currently awaiting my 2019 zl1 in black. I was going back and forth between north gate and Sherwood park and ended up ordering at northgate back in January. The orders weren’t accepted from western Canada until mid February, my original tpw was May 6 but my car was built two weeks early, so with any luck yours will be as well. Just to give you an idea of the timing, my car was built two weeks early, was moved to the rail yard may 6 and sat there till May 13 when it was loaded into a rail car and shipped out. I am still waiting for my car as of today but I’m really hoping it comes in this week, just thought that might give you some real world insight to timing. When you come down to get yours pm me and we can meet up for a beer! |

Here is goes,
picked up last wednesday Nothing is perfect in life heh? When i browsed in the forums about jacking points I came upon this thread.... https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9720074 So i looked underneath and found out that they used the same jacking points.... Well I think most dealer seems to be doing it that way so I guess i will buy the ZL1 Addons jack points blocks in order to prevent further dents.. I dont think I should loose sleep over this mishaps what do you guys thinks? Thanks |

Just get the lift points, preferably the red ones so they can't miss them, and let it go, it is what it is. Enjoy the beast instead
Next time make sure you point out the proper lifting method (easy to be diplomatic yet drive the point home, say "check out these awesome new lift points, here, let me show you how well they fit onto your lift pucks").
