LOL, no it didnt! Getting a 5th Gen to 505 was max effort, heads and everything. Anyone who claims 505 rwhp with cam only is not being honest or got fooled by a happy dyno.

Your average off the shelf heads cam ls3 is about 500 rwhp

But that’s not max effort. The aftermarket is huge on the ls. If you’ve got the coin for high dollar parts one can hit 580-600 rwhp with an na SBE ls3

Not that mine was max effort but pretty average I would say for common bolt ons cam only (pending aggressiveness/nature of cam) M6 LS3. My 472 number was in good air. I cant imagine that I would get near 515 without pulling the heads and going slightly more aggressive on the cam.

Impressive for sure....but that is a pretty heavily modified piece....I just thought the intent of the OP was to emphasize the gain with cam and bolt ons only.

No trying anything bro. Seen the sheet myself. True cam only m6 with rotofab, headers no cats etc. I want to say it was a gpi cam? But yeah it was dyno'd at straightline performance in IL. 100% untouched heads.

I sure did but immature bs and a shit ton of hate was there so I just left it alone. That ss in the vid is not my car btw. I have the 16 cam, meth ,bolt on Z06 and a 18 Zl1. the ss is a good friend of mine that I helped with the build.
