ZL1 M6 vert
Wife wants a convertible. We drove a black Zl1 a10 last week when we were picking my ZR1 M7. We were thinking the A10 would be cool. After driving the M7 home - changed our minds. We won’t be tracking the car and like manuals.
ZL1 looks great in blue with all the carbon fiber stuff. I keep hearing about 15% off etc but all the dealers I talk to are 5-8% off. Heck, I would take a pre owned if it wasn’t abused. Who are these best dealers on these ZL1s? Anybody got one they want to sell? Comments, advice, etc. Thanks, D. |

The M6 Vert ZL1 is rare. There are only a few hundred in existence (84 made in 2017, approx 150 or so in 2018, probably about the same in 2019). There are a whopping 5 available used nationally on cargurus, a dozen new.
When I bought my car there were 5 available nationally in red hot in July 2017, and a month later only one was left and Chevy didn't make any more until the spring of 2018. I paid ~6% under MSRP before TTT. OTD was right at MSRP. Don't expect dealers to come down much off MSRP. Buyers have next to zero leverage on these cars. 2019 production is done. So the supply of new cars will get smaller until they make more next spring. So if you want the very last new riverside blue vert in Palmyra, IL, or the hyper blue used 10k miler in NJ, you'll probably need to move quick. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...#resultsPage=1 Good luck!

The deals you're talking about are on the leftover '18s. I got lucky and one of the very few new '18 manual convertibles left happened to be local to me and in red hot. I bought it in April, sticker was $72k, got it for $60k before tax, title and tag.

Wow, according to Autotrader.com, there is only 1 manual 6th Gen ZL1 within 300 miles of you.
It is black and at Britain Chevrolet around 50 miles from you... https://www.britainchevy.com/Vehicle...-TX/3423203113

That is a smoking deal. I have a call in on a 2018 ZL1 vert auto. 2019 M6 ZL1 vert 64k and change. Might have to scratch that itch. D. |

2019 Blue one doesn’t have carbon fiber weave hood - car has zero options.
I suspect we will be ordering a 2020. D. |

D, check on Cars.com 250 mile search. That’s where I found my low mileage used ‘17 ZL1. You could save money buying a 2019 if you can find one with the options/color you want. Just my .02 cents worth. Good luck!

That’s sort of what mine was, a unicorn. Didn’t want a lot of options so the one I bought was very close to what I was looking for. Funny thing was when I found it on Cars.com I really wasn’t looking to buy a ZL1 because of the cost and was looking for a 2018 or 2019 SS 1LE. The ZL1 was priced reasonable and I had a 2016 2SS for a trade in so I got the Z instead and so far no regrets.

And it was located in S.C a 4 hour drive and around 300 miles from my home in Georgia. It was a fun and memorable drive home after I bought it.

Bought my leftover 2018 ZL1 700 miles away. Flew to OK, drove it home to TN. Had a great time with the Misses.
