I have more pictures on the Instagram I just made if anyone wants to check it out. IG is the same as my screen name here.
Ceramic coating makes dealing with these love bugs SO much easier. Definitely worth the time and patience

I havent washed the car since I coated it. It collects dust mainly. The times I have wiped off the front everything came off so easy

How difficult is it to do yourself? The locals want your first born child to do it and I'd rather spend that on a cat back, etc

It's not hard at all. Just time consuming like all detailing l.

Its honestly basic detailing. Wash, clay, polish then you do a coating prep and start coating. It took me 16 hours from start to finish. My car was pretty good paint wise before this. I found a lot of high spots in the coating which I polished out later.

I just washed it for the first time today. Washing and drying was so much easier.

Robert, it's exactly how they told me about 3 broken screws right after I bought it already. And yeah, I agree that everyone can handle it with tap and die toolset (one of these: https://cozyhousetoday.com/best-tap-die-set-review/) but that's what I call unfair deal, so long story short it's all about principles and I've asked my lawyer for help in returning it back. My husband has went to Hawaii on business trip for 3 months, so he couldn't even help with it.

Hm, it really pisses me off when I see such tiny but annoying abrasions.

It’s hard to see in the picture, but my fender is dented in. That’s not really a tiny abrasion
