Crushed,

Just to also chime in with my experience. Paid MSRP from my second dealer, after getting the run around from the first dealer (who didn’t know jack shi¥). The second dealer never asked any questions about upping the price like yours did.

As for paying over MSRP, it’s your money and i don’t know your financial situation so maybe 10k is a weeks paycheque, so it won’t matter in the grand scheme of things for u, I don’t know.

But I will never set foot in another Ford Dealer as long as I live because they wanted 20k over MSRP on a GT350R. This practice of seeking a price over MSRP should be outlawed and the dealers tarred and feathered as far as I’m concerned.

But, it’s your call Crushed.

PS I also have a TPW of the 27th.

FWIW

I was told by a dealer that it's against GM Canada's pricing policy to charge above MSRP..

Maybe take your order number and contact GM?

I really do appreciate all your guy'ses responses. It's a tough call. I just can't feel as though I'm getting raped here. I don't make 10K a week, in fact its taken me 18 months to put together a sizeable down payment to make the ZL1 affordable. The 10K over MSRP represent 6 mo ths of hard work saving. I'm really not sure if I'm gonna proceed.

I have a lot to contemplate.

Apart from some minor details, the 18 and 19 are almost the same....

Just wanted to warn you guys :

My ZL1 1LE had a TPW of something in the end of May 2018.

I recieved the car end of July. Like the 30 or 31.

The car spent many weeks waiting for a train.
The car also spent some time in another factory for the 1LE tuning etc I was told.

In the end, it was worth it. But the summer was short.

Probably. Lol

Special air indeed. Took 2 months to find and inflate the tires. Lol

Poor girl is sitting outside in the rain. For the size of this dealer you would think it would be in the showroom.

I went and looked at it today. I also looked at the blue one at Queenston Chev yesterday. It was in the showroom. Both 10 speeds but the one at Queenston has a sunroof. Beautiful cars.

Like others have said I wouldn't pay $10k over. I got 1K off and they were very generous in the trade value for my 2017 2SS.

If they hadn't changed the blue, I would have had a hard time deciding what colour to get. Personally don't like the new blue as much.

Chevy.ca shows 7 ZL1's for my area. $74K to $78K. 2 blue and 5 black.
