I prefer the bar in the middle black. Painting it just makes "the look" blend in more with the other gen5 and gen6 Camaros.

Moving the bow tie up was a good decision.
The 19 having the black bar made it look faux aggressive to me. You see a lot of car companies do it on other models to make it look sporty or aggressive.

That Transformers car was the 1st thing I thought of when I saw the '19 SS. Just not for the masses, unless your a BIG fan of that car in that movie. I will admit the '19 slowly grew on me, but only in select colors. Like the '20 much better.

The base V8 LT1 is still over priced. You can get new 1SS's all day long for $34k.

Price needs to be about $30k if they want any real sales benefit IMO.

You're comparing a discounted 1ss priced to a non discounted LT1 price...

in december they had a 2018 white 2SS but kept at 38k and sold it quickly

2020 and beyond will the better of the 6th gens. Yes, looks are subjective but, facts are facts. The 20s get the A10 across the board, accessories galore, plus the LT1!

Seriously, kudos to Chevrolet. Instead of doubling down they listened.
As I understand it, the LT1 will not have the SS suspension or Brembos or wider rear tires. Now, if you're looking for a stock performer and can swing the extra $$, the SS is the way to go. However, if you plan to modify that stuff anyway, then get the LT1 and go to town!

That is debatable.. The performance numbers don't reflect any advantage right now on the A8 over the A10, and not all GEN6 A8 have issues so if you take that out of the equation then your left with the Refresh that loses the Homelink and phone wireless charger but gains the review mirror camera and the model (LT1) I wouldn't call that ground breaking considering the 2019 design hasn't been widely excepted.

I do think the 2020 changes and the LT1 will help sales. At the end of the day I hope the 2020 sells are very good to help push GM to continue the model and put the dollars in the designing a great GEN7.

Exactly. I don't understand how people can't comprehend this.

I wonder if now that the LT1 is basically a super base model... if everyone that put those emblems on their cars with previous models like 1LE's, 2SS will be taking them off now :P

We will soon find out, but I really doubt they nixed all that. Picture shows Brembos for 1, maybe it's an option but that would be a tad decieving. It would be cheaper for GM to offer the SS underpinnings as it's already all validated.

If they put cheap suspensions and brakes on it, it should have dropped more than 3k. So far for 3k less you get

Base radio and stereo
Base headlights
Base taillights
Non staggered wheels, all season tires
Any other interior options the 1ss has that the 1lt does not

If it has base suspension and brakes, I'd expect 33k or so.

Better for who? Pure driving enthusiasts, or those who want to add a ski rack on the roof and who want creature comforts driving to the Poconos for a weekend ski trip ?
