So don't take this the wrong way but your tone comes across as though you are just looking for a fight.

It is only natural for all of us to be skeptical with your claims of a abnormally quick V6 that gets great gas mileage all while having gears (my bone stock V6 gets 19mpg and rarely sees my heavy foot).
I'm a pretty big skeptic too. I owned a 2013 v6 that I tuned, and now own my 2012 2SS that is also tuned. I was lucky to have 23mpg on my v6 on the highway. They desperately needed a proper tune, because GM ran those things too lean.

My SS is night and day different to the v6. It was a hell of a lot of fun revving an engine up to 7000RPM before shifting, but my old v6 was nowhere near as fun as my current DD.

I like using bad analogies and here is mine:

The V6 Camaro is a German Shepard in Wolf’s clothing. A V8 Camaro is just a Wolf.

I wouldn’t call the V6 Camaro a Sheep in Wolf’s clothing as it is pretty capable overall. Hang out at the dog park (daily driving) and you are among the top dogs. Go out into the wilds (drag strip, track) and you’re now in exclusive wolf territory and in big trouble.

I dream of a world where V8 Camaro owners don’t look down on the V6 guys and V6 Camaro owners don’t write checks their car can’t cash.

If you followed all of this, including the vague Top Gun reference, you’re ahead of me because I got lost somewhere around german shepard and started rambling.

Nice post KenKat... and I definitely got the Top Gun reference... right in my wheel house! I dream of the same world you do, but the fact is, the wolf would have to hit the brakes for the German Shepard to fly right by... I'm confused now, yours was better!

See, that’s why it’s a bad analogy.

Yeah maybe or it becomes "Too Quick for What it Was" Part III when the motor goes boom after going WOT too many times with a 93 tune on 87 Octane gas

To be fair to him he did mention in one of these many threads how fast the car was getting a pickup from Dunkin Donuts so there is some hard data there that should not be ignored..... I'm just waiting now for the confirmation run where he goes and gets a quart of milk & some toilet paper with it LOL.
