Great thread,
Look at all the predictions that were 100% wrong. Its like watching CNN. And like CNN all the people that were wrong already forgot it and moved on to spread more fake news. LOL |

He was also right that changing things after 1 model year was pretty common in the 50s and 60s. And he was mostly right in saying that the minimum period for refreshes today is 2 to 3 years. Thats right the vast majority of the time, but there are rare exceptions. Probably averaging less than 1 per year over the last decade or two. Quote:

So, RealG, lt4camaro is maybe 50% right overall (40% wrong, 10% unknowable). Him and KMPrenger were about the worst at predicting what should/will happen. And they were still far from being '100% wrong', which you claimed was common in this thread. In fact, the one post that is most incorrect was this one:No prediction was 100% wrong. Its not like CNN because it was speculation, not news. They couldn't have forgotten they were wrong, because they generally weren't (and CNN is mostly right as well). Lastly, the only one spreading fake news here is you. News, because you're talking about what is supposed to have happened (that, broadly, is what news is: things that have happened -as opposed to prediction/speculation/opinion which is not news). And fake, because it didn't actually happen. That makes it fake, or false, or fabricated, or umpteen other words that don't begin with 'F'.

You’re right, we live in two different worlds. When someone says “the tooling is already made there will be no changes for 2020” And then there is changes for 2020 you’re right that’s my fault for pointing it out. Again just like CNN they blame the person that points out there fake news and faulty thinking. If you really believe that people on the Internet read this thread and did not come away with the predictions that Chevy was not going to make any changes for 2020 you really are a CNN watcher. The fact of the matter is I was on the right side of history in all my threads I was hoping/thinking that Chevrolet would do a low-cost V8 and they would update the front end and got flamed ! in the end I was right they did both. I can live with that.

I guess the Chevrolet Camaro team were the only ones to know for sure about the 2020s!
