F1A94 ProCharger | LME Engine | CR Port Injection... 1000+WHP

2018 ZL1 A10

This ZL1 is owned by an enthusiast who road courses and drag races for enjoyment. No limitations were placed on the power with this build. Not solely a matter of “needs” here, a lot of want! Thoroughness and safety for the endurance and overall power is top priority.

Major Build Components:
- F-1A-94 ProCharger
- 398ci LME Short Block
- HPA Valve train/ Exhaust Valves
- CR-Fueler 2.0 Holley EFI/Crawford Racing
- HPA Low-Side Fuel System
- ALKY Control Methanol Injection
- 1LE Spec Solid Cradle Bushings
- GM Rear Brake Conversion

Tuning maps are different and specifically made for varied track use. After initial dyno and testing we went to the road course with excessive power (960whp- There is never an excess of power, only practicality of use), and ran four, 20-minute sessions. Excellent way for the customer to get seat time and feel the dynamic changes. Nothing like a road course for testing the durability of the build as well. This environment was also great in providing the opportunity to make tuning adjustments, most specifically to the transmission and throttle input. If the car sees the track, get track tuning! The A10 is outstanding overall.

Street driving and road course action is done on the OEM wheels with Toyo R888R tires. When at the drag strip the rears will be fitted with Weld Racing/ Chevy Performance wheels and slicks.

Customer is currently enjoying much awaited street time with this machine! Keep up with us on media, and always contact us for full details and specifics to current/future builds.

Damn, that's a lot of power! What kind of oil/coolant temps are you seeing on the 20-minute track sessions?

Holy crud the original build was sad. 16 psi, heads, cam and only 680whp STD. Yikes.

Anyone notice with the whipple how explosive the WOT was on the dyno and then the Procharger just pours it on a bit more gradually but none the less it looked like it wanted to pull the dyno out of the ground.

Yes but Nothing about the original combination was proper. That setup should of been 800 on 93...with E/alky combination and 19psi close to 1k whp. I see no reason to replace a SBE LT4 if it's not hurt. They are easily capable of these power levels, so I am wondering if the engine was hurt.

Charlie,

What does the Procharger intake offer and is that intended to be used with a specific headunit?

Also are you running the bigger Race Intercooler? I would seriously love to upgrade to that since it gets pretty hot in Florida but worried about the insurance liability of not running a front crash bar since the IC won't allow for that to be reinstalled.

Just watched vid. I see that car has been at NJMP.
Tell him to look up MPDE. He will get far more track time with us then all the others. Turn out is usually light so plenty of room to stretch all those HPs.
Love to see my measly SS against it.

Does PTM work at that power level? Or does it just throw its hands in the air and tell you "good luck"?

So is the front bumper support completely gone? My SS's intercooler is blocked by the bumper support, so since I can see the whole intercooler, the whole bumper support must be bye-bye? I don't own a ZL1, so maybe I'm missing something (or not).
