So it's the laptop that didn't work for some reason: when using mine, his interface resynced without a hitch and we were able to run the VCM scanner with the car.

Brent, since the error we got with your laptop was "Resync failed. 401 - Unauthorized" and my laptop worked without changing a single thing, this thread may be the solution: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?75462-MPVI2-Resync-Failed-401-Unauthorized. Can you try it?

Hey dude. Crazy week. About to try it again now. Updated the Time Settings on the laptop. Looks good.

Good to go now. Everything read properly and I took my first log file. Arpad - You are the man haha. Great guy; can vouch. Next step is to scan some 1/4 runs at the track and get a remote tune. Might go to Atco tomorrow.

I work in JC as well if you need any help, im out if state for the week but I have dialed in my tune by my self so lmk. I think arpad_m has it under control though lol

Yeah, I will blow my car up trying to tune it myself lol. Pray is working on a remote tune for me. We should link up though man. Nice to know other 6th gen owners in the area.
