16' Car Hauler + Gen 6 Camaro
I have a 16' open deck car hauler that I'm planning to put my 2017 SS 1LE on, will it safely fit?
It's a tandem 3500lb axle trailer so I'm not worried about weight just overall length. According to google the car length is 188.3" and with the trailer deck being 192" (less ~5" at the front for my winch) I know I'm cutting it very close. Has anyone put a Gen 6 on a 16' car hauler?

Length you are ok , watch the width, I have a open trailer that I use to haul a 70 Chevelle on and the Camaro won't fit ,I believe the camaro track width is like 3 inches wider. I would want a trailer 80 inches wide or more

Is that a 15' + ~1.5' Dove tail though? The trailer looks longer than the car.

I think 16 would definitely be the minimum you would want to go, I tow with an 18' and like the fact I could position the car forward and back correctly for weight distribution

Mine is twenty ft, lots of room to move back and forth depending on how much I'm hauling depending on the length of the trip. Put an additional box up front and the fenders are removable on both sides. Plus its all aluminum. Love the way it pulls and on my last trip of almost 400 miles I got 14.8 mpg at 77 mph.

Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose, I bought a 16' because my Corvette and subsequently MX5 fit with room to spare, if I were to do it all over again I'd definitely get an 18'
