Are we? Are we the ones in denial? How many A10s without PP1 come on the 235 tires? Oh... yeah all of them.

Here is a GT PP1 A10 with dealer added wider than the 275 tires losing a drag race to a KIA. Yet we are in denial lol. Any non prepped surface or non hand picked driver seems to lower the GTs performance significantly.

That’s exactly what I said, Drag mode however is not required. Price me up a $38k a10 SS and we will compare it to the 235 tired GT. I’ll wait.

And Ford GT’s beat Demons in the 1/2 mile. I saw it on the internet so I know it’s true

I just linked you a video of the GT* losing to a 13 second car. Also the M6 SS beat a 235 tired A10. Go back to the Mustang forums dude.

Steeda ran a 12.24 @ 117 mph with a base A10 GT on 235 all seasons. They added a CAI only without a tune and ran a 12.1 @ 118 mph. 3.15 gears, all seasons, no drag mode. If I remember correctly the DA was pretty high, too.

Also, American muscle ran an 11.97 @ 118 mph (117.97 to be exact) on the 20" 255 optional all season tires bone stock A10 '19 GT. I don't know if it was a PP1, didn't seem to be, but it did have drag mode. You can get drag mode without PP1, by the way. So, it's not only "one particular set of options" that will get this thing 12.2 or better. In reality, any A10 GT is a 12.2 or better car, while the long gearing of the M6 hurts it significantly at the strip. You all thinking that only a PP1 with A10 can give the SS a run for its money are plain wrong. Any A10 GT is as fast as any SS, or slightly faster if a PP1 A10.

Why does it take companies that deal with Mustangs on prepped tracks the only ones that get these times?

Every independent reviewer has run 12.1 or better in the *GT LoL. Steeda (not independent)went 12.2 in the 235 tired GT which was still faster than any A8 Camaro tested at the time.

But In LaLa land the Camaro is still quicker.

Y'all said the GT* is the only one capable of beating the SS. I gave two examples where a GT beat or matched the SS times. The A10 GT is not as slow as you all are trying to make it out to be. It's just as fast as the SS. The PP1 GT, on the other hand, is slightly faster.

The 7th Gen Camaro should get the same 500 HP NA V8 engine that will be in the C8 Vette. Will the 5.0 be able to make that kind of power safely and reliably?
Considering the Bullitt is already making 480 hp, I think that answers your question. You're talking about a 7th Gen Camaro that is still years away from maybe getting that 500 hp engine. The current gen Camaro (obviously) just started 3 years ago.
