I went by and looked at this car but didn’t drive it. It’s nice and has 60 miles on it. There’s a large chip in the paint on the rear left quarter panel and overall it will need some paint correction. The price includes $1,000 trade assistance, but otherwise everyone qualifies at that price.

It has been sitting on the showroom floor for a while therefore the need for paint correction. I didnt see the chip the last time I was in the dealership visiting with Ryan. I would always ask the dealership to have the paint correction done at this point. The car has been there on the showroom floor for a while which means they want it gone.

Yeah, I've been searching and actually found a 2SS hyper blue with grey interior a couple states over that I may check out. There appears to be some deals near the coast and also FL, but realistically I only ever get 2 days off in a row and a day and a half of driving won't fit into my schedule at the moment. I guess I could schedule a vacation day next month, but I would be worried a car I am interested would be gone by then. It happened to me before on a long trip. Also, like I said, I'm kind of curious to what the 20's may look like and maybe consider a 19 if they end up discounting them enough. I still haven't driven a SP either to totally rule it out.

I was wondering why I didn't hear back from that dealer I emailed the other day on the loaded hyper blue SS. I was thinking maybe I sounded a little rude, so I re-read his prices and estimated payments and found maybe I jumped the gun. It actually did have the 5,376 rebate in there by the bottom. But what he did was subtract their 1840 discount and then added 3138 in taxes (which would be cut in half with my trade in which wasn't included), then added a doc fee? of 220 to get the sales price and the estimated payments finance charges were not specified, but looks like they put in worse case scenario of about 8 or 9% (I could probably qualify for about 4% I'm guessing). It also didn't factor in the trade allowance of 2k. So, after re-calculating (and assuming I could get a little equity on my trade and maybe 500 or so down), the payments should be about 100 or so less than in the example or right around the 600/m or so max I wanted to pay. IDK, it still sounds a little high and I don't know why these dealers aren't honoring the Chevy 15% off promotion. But I guess its in the ballpark and looks to be a nice car and If I drive up and negotiate a little...what do you guys think?

I'm late to the party.
Wanting to know if the offer is still on with Chevy or is it over? Wanting to know if anyone ended up getting a Hotwheels SS and what was the price excluding dealer fees, TTL.... There is a Hotwheels SS near my place and dealer wants 42,232 and MSRP was 51870. It has NPP, sun roof, No MRC

The deals are still available if you look. Here is a local Hot Wheels available locally just to compare.

I don't mind manual cars and have had several. My main thing is I use the remote start a lot. Plus they are easier to drive in the winter and the newer autos are faster.

I've been debating between a 17-18 lightly pre-owned SS 1LE or brand new. I'm not usually a new car buyer (my 718 Cayman was new, but that's a lease), but the incentives for new 18's and even new 19's are not far off from pre-owned. A properly optioned pre-owned SS with the 1LE PKG is around $35k, meanwhile a new 18 of the same exact car is maybe $2-4k higher with all the incentives, plus if you negotiate properly, you might be able to get 0% financing! That's crazy! Of course it's great for someone like me who is in the shopping phase, but it's horrible for resale values for the person trying to sell his car.
This has been a main sticking point for me for quite some time regarding domestic brands. It seems that they often kill off their resale value by flooding production, then highly discounting new cars to make room for new ones. It hurts their own client base. There are several German and non-domestic brands that are guilty of the same (BMW, Mercedes, etc...), but it's not as bad. I'm literally looking at a less than $5k difference between new and used for a Camaro. Someone please chime in to correct me if I am wrong...

I doubt no dealer will combine them. I spoke to a financial guy and as per him, If you plan on keeping the car for at least 5 years then taking the incentives is much better deal than 0% as you still end up gaining 3000-5000$ by taking incentives than 0%
