ZL1 1LE Aftermarket wheel fitment

I'm considering putting on a different set of wheels and tires for use when daily driving. Do we know, or has anyone put 20 inch rims on a ZL1 1LE? Exact same size as OEM, but 20's.

Thanks

Dont know, but people generally buy the 1LE for performance and track use so they stick with the lower weight, lower unsprung mass 19s. Many hardcore track guys buy 18s from Forgeline or BC Forged, and mount Pirelli slicks or Hoosiers.

20" OEM ZL1 wheels will work I think, but you can also get MRR 716s in 20". These are replicas of the 1LE wheel in different sizes--19s and 20s

I bought HRE's in the same size/width/ET as the factory wheels, to be my street wheels with PS4S's...I will retain the factory wheels/tires for track duty.

This car is a track car and 20's with a thinner sidewall tire (if chosen) will be overkill, the drive will be harder and say bye to your aftermarket wheels. Id opt for the APEX wheels in 18" with a meaty tire! SUPER AFFORDABLE! lighter than OEM = better handling and a weeee bit faster car.

not 18X12 the GT4 cars run 18x11 wide square set up... with 305 square tire. For me I would run 315 square and call it a day.

Interesting idea. Do the apex 18s clear the brake calipers for zl1?

Apex has a group buy right now with zle fitment. 350 off and free shipping. They’re doing 19 * 11 and 19 * 12. I think only a very limited list of 18s will fit the zle and I suspect the apex 18s aren’t on that list. Hope this helps.

18" apex fit on the camaro guys...those of you concerned about brake clearance. Cant go wrong with 19's either....tires are a consumable especially if you track hard hence why 18's are just a wiser choice for myself.

Is there a specific model of the apex? And (not that I don’t believe you) how have you verified that the 18 clear? Thx
