Just wanted to share! installed AWE touring axleback.

So like the title states, I recently installed AWE Tuning's touring axleback, it sounds INCREDIBLE, I love it.

I did it in my driveway, maybe 2.5 hours? they give you an install guide and it was very easy to do by myself.

the 4.5" tips are simply HUGE and I am in love with them, I deleted the secondary cats, and this system is so rowdy because of it on the downshifts, its intoxicating, No drone, deep Idle sound that I love.

With the help of a buddy we made a video, check it out!

I did the same but cat back resonated, plenty "rowdy" for me as is, although I did the black tips. After you heat cycle it a few times go back and retorque all the clamps.

I installed the AWE back in October and still love it. Mine was the dual single tip non NPP. No drone sounds great, everything about this exhaust is Awesome! Great video. Enjoy!

I have the same and I concur with the post install impressions you gave!!

But, and this is not a knock on you, at all, but any reason you completely omitted the install? AWE's retarded use of 3" inlets on a 2.75" system, that stupid pipe adapter that you have to use...just makes ya go hmmm when that wasn't documented in the vid. I have a ton of install problems with it because of what I called a severe design flaw on their part.

Yes it sounds amazing, I can't stop down shifting 😊😊

I did question that during the install, I personally wasn't the one filming and editing.

however I assumed that adapter was necessary in their design or engineering in some way to get the tone that the exhaust creates, I personally only had problems with that adapter only on the driver side, some WD40 and it went on, the passenger side was smooth.

I did the same a few months ago but did the full Cat-Back w/Resonators and Link Pipes. Love the sound, loud and rowdy when you get on it, just enough rumble when cruising on the highway that you don't forget you have 400hp under your right foot. I get so many looks and compliments about it I just grin and nod.

That's been exactly my experience 😁I want to do the full cat back eventually, glad to hear how much you like it!

Literally the day I installed it I was getting gas and when it started up these two guys in a truck were loving it, I'm all smiles!

Finally got around to putting my AWE on this week, same system (Touring CB w/resonators and Link Pipes). Have to say, absolutely the nicest and best sounding exhaust I’ve ever bought! Peelam’s description is right in the money. Nice quality too. Two thumbs way up!

I assume you just pull the wire on the NPP valves and tie them up somewhere? Makes it about the same as pulling the fuse but sounds lots better than stock.

I no longer use the feature so I gave the plugs a dab of silicone dielectric grease and a pair of these to prevent corrosion. https://www.gen5diy.com/products/16-...-exhaust-plugs

Warrior---

Does that make the car throw a CEL? Pass inspection?

I'm in your state, would like to know.
