But from what I understand, specifically from people running this exact exhaust setup, is that you will have codes by doing what you wrote above. The only way to get rid of those codes is to tune them out or to get some type of delete kit.

DROWN...

Normal driving, 6th gear it's not bad. pull it into 5th and hold say 3-4k you can't hear yourself think haha. It really depends on how you drive and what you like. I did a 5k mile round trip and it didn't bother me. But get mom in the car and she said WTF this thing is LOUD. End results I'm happy with it and would by again.

Do you have any sound clips of your exhaust setup?

So I ended up ordering the race axle back.. I used a go pro to record stock cold start till warmed up (in track mode with fuse pulled). I used a dB meter app that I’m sure isn’t 100% accurate, but it stays consistent with what it says my car is dB wise. Tried it a few different times over the past couple weeks.. so after I install the axle back when it comes I’ll do the exact same thing again and I will b able to roughly see what the dB increase is from stock npp fuse pulled is to race axle back... I’ll post an update for the hell of it when done

That sounds like a good plan. I love seeing how loud a car can get!

I'll have to look, most videos don't do justice on the exhaust. Off the top of my head you can search shift sector norcalcamarosandcoffee on you tube and get some idea of how it sounds. ( my car is in the video several times ) inside shot is my car. SS fifty with 1le wing.

I'm happy with it, its loud and the tone is different.

I have that app, just now went out on cold start & after letting it idle down it was an average 80db. That is with my ARH 1-3/4" headers & no cats, factory NPP muffler on sport mode.

Installed the Mbrp axle back yesterday... sounds so much better now.. glad I didn’t go full cat back. Don’t think I’d get away with it for too long in the east bay. Definately deeper tone and a lil louder. For my driving and everything I think it’s perfect tho

I probly could have got away doing the race cat back as long as I drove right and not on it all the time.. I live in California with the bs 95 dB law that they finaly decided to enforce and not a fix it ticket anymore.. I’ve heard a lot of the full cat backs and they sound realy good and can even keep them chill at low rpms. There’s even a few people I’ve talked to in California that have that set up along with secondary delete with no problems.. u should b fine

So it looks like the dB difference from stock with fuse pulled in track mode to mbrp axle back is about 10-11 dB difference at idle
