My apple watch 4 and MyLink begin the pairing process, and even show the verification code correctly on both devices, but then fail. I have tried repeatedly, alternating hitting yes/continue on either device, or together, and it never is successful. I have attempted many times. Anyone else having this issue or know a workaround?

Won't work with the watch. Does not pair with car, only phone.

I'm very curious....why would you want to pair your watch to the car?

Not sure why you would pair with your car, even if possible.

I have the Chevy app on my phone and paired my watch with my phone. You then get access to some features of the app on your watch. I can lock, unlock and even remote start my car from my watch. I tried it once for giggles, haven't looked at it since. Can also access an operate my garage door opener through the watch, that has come in handy on occasion.

The only reason I can think to would be if either you have music stored on the watch or if its the cellular version and wanted to use it for hands free in the car.

Either way, the watch will work only with the iPhone it is paired with. As long as the phone that is paired with the infotainment system is with you in the car, you can control the phone with the watch for answering calls, changing songs, reading or answering texts. Most of these things can be done with the infotainment system anyways.
