Odd issue with Performance modes
I used to leave my car in Sport mode 100% of the time. No problems.
Recently I started using Track mode all of the time because I liked the sound better. I noticed that whenever I start the car, it switches to Tour mode about 3-4 seconds after ignition. Then I have to manually select Track mode again. Is that normal? FWIW, I went into the settings today and manually set everything in the console so I get sport mode steering/suspension, and track mode exhaust. Hopefully that doesn't reset when I start it this afternoon. |

If you put it in track or snow/ice mode the car would usually start in tour mode. Everything’s working fine on your car don’t worry.

Yah the car will default to tour mode if you start it in Track or Snow/Ice. It will start up in Sport mode tho.
If you like the sound maybe leave it in Sport and just set the exhaust to Track? I run track or comp mode for the throttle response |

If it was doing that I wouldn't give it a second thought.
But it starts in Track mode (nice loud roar when the engine starts), then goes super quiet when it switches to Tour mode. You can see it happen on the display also. Not a big deal, just curious. |

I went to settings and locked in Track for the exhaust. I keep everything else in Sport mode though I usually double tap to get Competitive Mode once I start the car.

The pipes are open on start up regardless. If the car is stopped in track or snow/ice mode, then the car will revert to tour on start up.

It's normal behavior.
I believe the only way to have the valves closed on startup is to permanently check "stealth" mode under exhaust settings. I could be wrong though. |
