I was teaching my nephew to call my car a Camaro from when he first could talk. He's 7 now and knows my car by heart haha. But yes, many people have called my car a Mustang, Charger, Challenger, or Corvette.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one to get my car mistaken lol. It's crazy because I always thought that the Camaro's had such a distinct and unique look.

Having a first gen get's annoying. I had a 69, and had several guys say "I had a 68 too, or nice 67" one guy used to have a 66 I think. Guess they did the special herb when they owned it. Won't even go on too much about the 67 Firebird, and the Pontiac guys 100% sure the (69 T/A) wing is from a GTO and arguing with me.

I'm in high school and kids here will call Camaros Mustangs or Corvettes. the worst one I've heard was actually at the Daytona 500 last year. This lady was looking at a ZL1 racecar that said CAMARO on the front and asked her husband if it was a Corvette. Can't fix stupid.

She's not stupid. Not everyone is car nut.
