I was clean for months, but now that I began to notice the throttle pedal lag more, an LT5 throttle body was too tempting to resist, oh well. That will be the end, promise.

I just got my TPW.
PPF first. Soon ordering rock guards, lift pads, likely exhaust, one or two sets of rims and shoes...... The Weapon X website has some good Kool Aid. Im 44 and been working on and modding almost every car I have owned since I was 12. The drug is sooooo goood. I’m just still not high enough yet. ![]()

Yep Zigg L1 it is a sickness and sure enough addiction! I even modded my 1974 Chevy Vega back in the day. Of course it used a quart of oil every 100 miles and smoked pretty bad but I still tried to get every ounce of hp out of that 4 cylinder. It got totaled in an accident before the engine gave up. I was planning to swap a 350 small block in it but couldn’t save up the money to do it back in the mid to late 70s. The transmission and rear end would have had to be changed too and those cost money which I didn’t have. I was going to college and working part time and my money was paying for my books and gas. Yes I’m looking at Roto-Fab and Cold Air Inductions CAIs now but might hold off for a few months. My 2016 SS was mildly modded with just a Cold Air Inductions CAI and I was happy with it so who knows about the Z! It really has enough hp for me so far as I’m in my early 60s now and figure it’s time to chill out and enjoy driving a very powerful Camaro.

4,000 miles and only mods are carry-over GM accessories from my Fifty (dark tail lights, side markers, cf gas lid)

Truthfully im really trying my best to keep in check. However its really tough, im not sure what to do, My ex-2 catch can is arriving tomorrow, and i have already booked an appointment and my local speed shop to install the catch can, and since the blower will have to be removed. It only makes sense to port the blower..... :( Boy im really worried about going homeless....

It is easier for me not to want to modify anything when I can drive it. But the hibernation period is where the ideas brew.

I’m in remission...
Selling off the bottomless pit 2010 2SS RS, and soon to be ordering a 2019 ZL1 1LE from Becky... this is my contribution to HP removal, or HP denial... A street friendly Camaro with nice manners will be a nice swap... The plan is to leave it stock, literally, swap out for some street friendly tires and travel the country supporting others race efforts... I’ll tint the windows, as I’m in south Texas..., and I’m negotiating keeping my 2015 GMC Denali Dually... I’ll 60/40 split daily driving time... truck in bad weather, and trailer the car to a track if I need sticky tires... but no performance mods... been there done that, got too many t-shirts...

I bought the ZL1 so I wouldn't have to mod anything and keep the warranty. I just want throw good fluids in and have fun on HPDE's. However, after reading the forums it gets harder and harder to keep it stock. The warranty is the only thing that reigns me in but it's a battle.
