just read the cold air inductions intake robs power over stock

any truth to that? Please dont make this a i bought a rotofab so buy a rotofab thread. anyone here loose power after installing a cold air inductions intake? tuned of course. butt dynos dont count.

True story. I won't tune one and neither will some other shops I know.

so i should order a rotofab. of course the dri is out of stock

Yes. No MAF tuning needs to be done, it actually seals up and you can build a Ram air duct for it if you like.

Thanks for the imput pray. I’ve heard the idea of a ram air thrown around on the forum but never an actual picture. Can you please share?

when you say you wont tune one do you mean on a stock car. I have headers and ported intake and tb

Has someone measured stock intake then measured the CAI intake on the same day same dyno stock tune? Changed tunes and measured again. I would like to see if anyone has some testing to backup the claim that they rob power, and i mean good data and documentation. What situation do they rob power, is it defined and repeatable?

I believe that I recall that you are/were working on a ram air duct system.
