ZL1 1LE Lowering springs

I've searching around, but my Google-foo is letting me down. Has anyone seen a set of lowering springs specifically for a ZL1 1LE. I've seen them for SS 1LE and the ZL1.

My concern is with the different wheel diameter and the DSSV dampers.

I don’t know if they’re marketing them but, Eibach has done them.

If it is even possible, I am not sure that there would be enough demand to warrant producing it. Especially considering the few numbers of ZLE's out there and those that would want to slam it even more cant be that great.

The front coil overs can be lowered to 0.4 inches. Way too much engineering has already gone into the suspension of this car & it’s a track monster. Not sure what you’ll gain out of lowering it unless you’re just going for a different stance

Seriously, lowering that thing even more would make it a nightmare to drive on the street.

As far as track performance, Chevy nailed it. Not sure there’s much to gain out of going lower.

Points well taken. Haven't taken delivery yet, and forgot about the adjustment availability in the front.

I've lowered every car that I've owned. It's kind of a trigger reaction I guess. Lol.

Were you able to lower the stands? If so what product did you use? I'm looking to get mine done as well......

Several company's may have what your looking for, Phastek, BMR and Eibach. Mines was lowered 1.5 inches with the Phastek lowered springs for 4 years and never have had any issues. Not that familiar with 1LE and its suspension.

The 1LE is on factory coilovers in the front. It is completely different than all other Camaro models.

Lowering a ZL1 1LE is bad taste in my opinion but every person has their own taste of what they want to do to their vehicle and should do what they want to their vehicle.

I honestly don't get the whole lowering thing to a vehicle that is already low to the ground but I guess if you like carrying 2x4's around with you then that's different......

Now if you were going to make this a dedicated race car and wanted to change the coil overs to something else, then lowering makes sense since it'll be on the track and lower is better. Instead of driving sideways and slowly over a speedbump with 10 cars waiting.
