Hm, I stand corrected, thank you very much. Will remember this, plus that I shouldn't just ass-ume things based on other trims.

V6 1le is awesome, id say drive it, but DON'T get a color you dont really want, or it'll haunt you. Hold out for your preferred color.
Also since this would be a daily driver, have you considered a 2.0T M6? They can be had brand new for really cheap, and, for a daily driver, the extra torque is really nice.
If you aren't looking to track and are trying to save on cost, there is really no reason to get the 1LE package. The extra features are nice, but, do you need them?

The M6 in the 2.0T and V6 is the tremec 3160. It's a great transmission and there really haven't been any problems with it.
It does have some programming where if you dump the clutch too fast and use too much throttle, something kicks in which cuts off the throttle and seems to "bog" the transmission. It seems to me to be a safety feature to prevent you from damaging the transmission. You really have to dump it hard to get this though. Like harder than you really should be if you are at all interested in preserving your transmission.
I drive my car hard, and I had to intentionally try to re-create it. Even in high performance driving, it never happens to me.

The TR3160 is easier to shift than the 6060 unit in the SS and the clutch pedal is lighter. The engagement point, however, is much closer to the floor with the 3160. Some people like it, others don't. You'll just have to drive it. I happen to like it.

You mean the 0% finance and the 15% off? It's fairly clear if you read the notes but I agree it could be more clear. Some dealers I talked to thought they would stack.

Either way I am happy so far that I traded my 18 2SS 1LE in for an 18 ZL1 1LE last night

Bought mine for ~$28.9k. The dealership also over-allowed on my trade-in by quite a bit so the 'real' number was probably closer to $25-26k. Mine is a 1LS with no additional cost options except the V6 engine ($1495) and V6 1LE package ($4500).

I'd think a 2LT could be purchased for low $30s depending on options.

If you really want the Camaro then I would say buy it! If I was in the market for a V6 then that is the model I would get except for the color. It would definitely be a fun car to drive and you don’t see many on the roads at least where I live. I just upgraded from a SS to a ZL1 earlier this month and love the Z! It was a used 2017 with just 422 miles and I got a good deal! Good luck.

I'd say 36,000 to 37,000

My 18 V6 RS with tech stickered for 32,600.

Dealer already has it marked down to $34,667. I'm sure it would go for even less. That could be a great deal.

My 17 V6 RS manual was about 30% off after it was on the lot nearly 2 years!

It's red with black wheels (red not my first choice in sunny hot FL but like the black wheels) and it's local and immediately available. I agree it would be really fun to drive for my commute and get fairly decent gas mileage in 6th gear most of the way going 55. I assume I could get a really good deal, regardless. M/T's are hard to sell down here.
Hopefully it's not from Hendrick in Naples.

Nothing to be worried about though.

I think a V6 1LE is a very interesting, and unusual car. A lot of bang for the buck really. You get the great chassis plus SS suspension, manual trans, and enough power to be fun on the street and useful on the track. Like your FiST (I had one of those too), the NA V6 is fun on the street and requires the driver to really engage to make it dance. It will dance well if you keep it in the power band. If you have a deal on a leftover 18 V6 1LE that could be a great option. What color?

I thought the V6 Manual was still using the Japanese Trans made by Warner.

Nah it's a Tremec 3160. Reverse is far left and up. Same trans that the Mustang GT350 uses, which I think they selected to save some weight. No real issues with the 3160, seems to be solid like the 6060 just not as beefy.

Yes it is the one at Victory Layne Chevrolet. I'd have to try it out and also see how low they can go on price. I prefer the V6 over the turbo 4 as it runs on regular gas versus premium. That is why I selected the 2017 V6 RS I had over the SS. I achieved over 30 MPG on my work commute with it but had the A8. It slipped and shuddered a lot so it might have done even better. Will the V6 manual also get over 30, going a steady 55 MPH? Regarding the track goodies, I always wanted to go to a track to really "drive" a car but my cars have not been fitted properly with the right equipment. So with the 1LE package I can confidently take it and have some fun with it.

Definitely get the M6 1LE. My 2.0T M6 can easily hit 34mpg on the highway at 60-65mph.
Also remember the LGX "can" run on 87 octane, but you'll get better mileage and performance with premium.
And, just to be clear, you can track a non-1LE camaro, and have lots of fun.
