Mustang then Challenger and now ZL1!

Hey everyone! I’m the new owner of a slightly used ZL1 for the past few weeks and have been blown away by this beast! I’ve aways been mostly brand agnostic which explains my progression from a Ford Mustang to a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack to the Camaro ZL1. Truth is, I’ve really been drooling over the 6th gen ZL1 since it was announced. I wanted to go forced induction and was considering supercharging my Challenger or getting a Hellcat. But the performance of the ZL1 on the alpha chassis makes it (in my opinion) an incredibly well-rounded monster. I’ve done a few mods including the Roto-Fab CAI and Mamo throttle body (wow, what an incredible difference the TB made - think I’ll post about that later).

Anyhow, been lurking here for months and months while researching the ZL1. I appreciate the wealth of information here. Thank you. Some pics below of my new ride and one of my now replaced Scat Pack.

Congrats on the ZL1. We love having them in the shop and we've been making big power with them. If you need any mods we're your one stop shop and we always have discounts for board members with code CAMARO6

Nice ! Time to de badge it and swap out the rear lights for the smoked versions.

I did consider a Hellcat... At the end of the day, I felt the hellcat would be a one-trick pony (so to speak). Having experienced and loved my Scat Pack, I knew straight line acceleration would be phenomenal, but those Challengers don't hold up as well in the turns. I will say my Challenger handled better than it got credit for, but she was a big girl with a dated chassis.

Definitely considering the smoked tail lights and third brake light. But, pretty sure my ZL1s are going to stay on!

Don't forget the rear reflectors too! While you're at it you might as well get the side reflectors...I've seen a few companies that keep the lights with thin LED strips, but the majority of the piece is body color. I have the Diode Dynamics on mine, but they may be a bit more of a contrast than what you want against the white paint (mine is NFG so the smoked lenses aren't a huge contrast).

Great looking car - welcome to the club!

Yes leave the badges! If anything black them out maybe.... I just did the Big Worm Graphix blackout kit and on the white I think it looks awesome!
