Weird groan/noise when turning

Just noticed in the last few days that while i am turning under acceleration i hear a weird groan or humming noise. I dont hear it if im turning without accelerating and it goes away after i drive for a little while, any ideas?

It's the differential. It's because it's not quite up to temp or it's a little cold outside. A little groan isn't a problem, as long as you dont hear anything pop or snap. It happens with these limited slip diffs.

Should have mentioned, this just started happening, never had this issue before even in 10 degree weather. The car has just over 5k miles too

Agree with the guy above^^^

Had that issue on mine. Brought it in for a diff oil flush. They only had to do it once to get rid of the noise.

Does it go away after a few turns, if it is the differential like I have in colder/cooler weather, after a few left turns it goes away. The fluid flush/fill doesn't last, or at least that what most people have stated...in the summer, mine never us heard at all.

This has been my experience with it. Chalked it up to the fluid just needing to circulate, literally goes away after the first turn in cold weather or doesn't happen at all if I let the car warm to temp.
