I'm not sure if it's always something that WILL happen and it's just a matter of when, but I'm hoping not everyone if effected. Otherwise I'll be hopping on that lawsuit.
Agreed.
If it really is a mechanical issue, why did the new flush procedure stop the shudder in my Camaro?

Why yours and not everyone else's? Why did some people report 1 flush fixed them completely and others had everything possible done and STILL have a shudder? It worries me. It's been years and they don't have a fix. I'm scared even GM doesn't know the exact problem.

Im not sure what else to do. Our lemon law here states it has to be an issue reported within the first year. I didnt have the shudder issue during the first year. I guess the only other thing is join a class action or hire a personal lawyer. Has anyone else took any other avenues? Even the manager is basically telling me its nothing else they can do at the service dept. Since gm eventually directed them to not replace any torque converters or transmissions.

I just got my a Camaro back after 13 days at the dealership.. this dealership here by far has the worst service department I've ever dealt with in my life. They did the #18-NA-355 the car is driving great right now! but they did tell me if this does not work that they will not replace the torque converter or the transmission as stated before.

So basically we're stuck with a car if this flush doesn't work and GM's isn't willing to do nothing about it. That BS!

When I worked at VW in America the Rabbits came down the line and we put the same parts "basically" on all of the cars. I would think if one transmission was bad they would all be bad? I guess I am just confused. I bought my Hotwheels to be my last car.
That's a good question. I do not have it and I'm at 37.000+ miles. I heard that GM said something about condensation in the fluid or whatever. I'm wondering if the shuddering issue only affects cars in humid areas. I'm in the high desert and I have no issue. It's like the window fogging issue...I don't have that either. Neither do any of the other camaros that I know of in my area. Weird

It may be a question of how much damage was done before the "fixes". I had 2300 miles on the car and was just starting to notice something, I took it in and think the dealer just did the service without actually checking, fine with me since I had the oldest fluid version.

The people that still have a problem, how many miles? This is wishful thinking on my part(hoping mine takes), but maybe some already had so much damage done that it's too late. Tens of thousands of miles with bad fluid, new fluid won't fix anything, there may be a time limit on if 355 will be effective, or else there isn't and we are all still screwed.

20,000 on mine, took it in right away (maybe 100 miles with the issue), I’m at 23,000 now, no issues so far. I hope it stays that way. I had the triple flush done back in November I think it was.

I live in Ohio and I had the issue. I’m sure it’s probably a issue that could have developed from the factory that builds the transmission. Maybe they got condensation in the transmission and GM doesn’t want to own up to it?

The fix worked for me. First time. I had the V4 shudder at first and now it’s not even there. The new fix is a worlds difference.

Hope they know what they are doing. The new fluid worked for me and a few others, cross you’re fingers man.

I had the shutter develop last year and got it in for the flush. I never experienced it again with about 500 miles put on and driving it spiritedly. Just broke the car out 4wks okay to take to the body shop for a new front bumper cover mod and drove it home this past Tuesday and the car rides great and shifts perfect. I plan to get it in for the Q1 flush and hoping for the best, but I’m very optimistic!
