Bug benefit of the borla is NPP. I think the Stype might be a bit deeper. Right now if i was to pull the trigger it would be Stype with stainless tips. Which I might do by the weekend.
For some time i was thinking about carbon fiber tips but gonna save that money for some rock guards made from ACS

Zigg L1,

I just installed the s-type with sec. cat deletes. It idles very quite, even cold start seems pretty subdued, but screams really good when you get on it. My r888r's are louder than it on the hwy. I had the Corsa extreme on My c7 z06 and it sounds wicked and no drone, but you will hear it from blocks away. My wife could never hear me through the bluetooth. My buddy that bought the car came by for the stock exhaust after he added headers. If headers are in your future I'd say Borla, but if you want the meanest sounding catback , that is just shy of headers loud, do the Corsa Extreme.

I've had some people turn up their noses at it in previous discussions, so I figure I'd make a little video of it. The video could be better, but it was just me and it was kind of nasty out that day. Pay attention to after the driveby, there are some downshifts and by that point I'm pretty far up the road. This an A10 car.

P.S. Please play the video with headphones or bluetooth speaker for the full experience.

When you say race muffler option do you mean muffler delete or with mufflers. Those are the only two options I see....

McMillion,
Yes i do plan to add ARH next year wanted to wait out the warranty for one more year. I will be getting the Stype. With your Stype did you get carbon fiber tips or the stainless tips? I feel like nobody will really notice the carbon tips but myself. Not sure it is worth the extra cash. Just was wondering how you feel about the carbon tips?
Thanks for your honest opinion

I have the stainless tips, I like them. I would powerdcoat these tips black before I did the carbon ones. Carbons just have a little too much going on for me.

I believe he's more referencing their Screamer mufflers like so:

VS the system with the standard Kooks Oval mufflers:

A note on Powdercoat. I bought a Stainless tip system when I bought mine, figured I could always have them coated black since we have access to powdercoat through my work without much hassle. After I realized I'd prefer the tips to match the valance, and the reduction of labor trying to keep the stainless clean, I had them powdercoated by a very reputable shop that we use frequently at work.

Bottom line...it can't handle the heat. It's already bubbling and wavy on the outermost tips and looks terrible. You can easily see where the extreme heat is pushing the coating right off damn near. If you want the tips black, ship them to Jet-Hot and have them coated, that's the boat I'm in currently.

I am going to throw up my link to my recent install of my Flowmaster Axle back muffler w Scavenger mid pipe. I am just waiting for it to clear. I hope it helps someone, as many of yours helped me immensly. This will be the cockpit version of what it sounds like in Tour and Sport from inside. Pretty damn good I have to say. Then I will record the outside when I get a friend's help. I will say this.........I wanted a certain sound...looked over everything, finally came the above listed system. Works with the NPP and I have never been so happy. A BEAST needs to sound like a beast, not a puppy looking for a place to play!!!

Hey folks, I’m thinking about doing the fuse pull on my Z. Is it the same as the SS? I did that to my ‘16 SS and was wondering if it is the same fuse.

Looking forward to it, the Flowmaster system was on my short list.
