I see man. Ohio is Ky CCDW friendly. Although, Ky signed a bill into law Monday. Starting in July, we don't need a permit to carry concealed. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Going through other states and buying firearms in my state, could mean waiting periods when I don't have to wait now and being illegal in other states that formerly recognized my CCDW. On the other hand, it may be giving a right back.

Illinois worries me more than Ohio in that respect. I end up going through there 4 times in May making 2 trips to Indy for practice/qualifying and the 500.

Constitutional carry. Yeah lots of states doing that. I feel yeah not sure about the long term logistics on it.

It’s either Ohio or Illinois that doesn’t recognize mine.

Glad I could provide some levity.

(BTW, the map could have shown Colorado as any color. I would have made the same comment. )

Getting ready for a big winter storm. and more .

You are right with the legality. I found it strange that you are allowed to have things in one state and in the other it is illegal our street laws and regulations are nation wide, no exceptions. Either it is not allowed or it is illegal
WHAT?! Jens how could you say this to me.

Nationwide rules make sense yes, but remember that Texas is larger than most European countries... and there are 49 other states, so implementing and policing the same laws everywhere is a bit more difficult than passing the law is.

Holy cow, Texas is almost twice as big as Germany but has only a 1/3 of the population. man, we could run Autobahn all over the place.

We could get back to car talk, but before I do, we should all be reminded that the constitution allows states to have their own laws as long as they fall under the broad brush guidelines of the constitution. We have gotten away from that, to our detriment. Education for instance, has declined since the creation of the Federal Dept. of Education in the 80’s. Ask most teachers how they are forced to teach different from what they know works. Sooooo, states can certainly play with gun laws, but by God they cannot outlaw the ownership.
LOL, I just got my new floor mats, and my new side makers from JWM. I won’t install them yet, as I am getting a new driveway poured next week, so the cover will stay on until it cures for at least 2 weeks after. I think taillights, rear reflectors and center tail light after that. Oh, and I will be getting an AFM disabler from Range soon as well.....
