It could have also been in an accident. I converted my 92 vr-4 into a 99 vr-4 front end (hood, bumper, headlights, everything) with insurance money when a woman pulled out in front of me.

However it's badged as an SS on the rear bumper. It has the hood setup typical of a ZL1 but the real spoiler looks custom add-on/swapped out, etc. I haven't been able to look to see if he has the 6-piston upgraded brakes. That might be another point to help determine this car's pedigree.

Without actually finding the guy that owns this car and talking to him (duhh), what might it be? A real ZL1 or a modified SS? Guesses/speculations welcome!
