Drove it for the first time in 417 days! Granted, it was only to the gas station and to park it... I'm taking her to get inspected tomorrow for the permanent Germany registration...

She was given Michelin PS4S tires today. I could only go for a 15-minute test drive on some of my "usual suspect", still dirty routes, but ooooh, what a difference on the street. Outside temp is below 60 degrees, but these tires are magical, very responsive and feel super quiet after the GY runflats. Can't wait to really exercise them.

I went with 255/40/20's in the front and 285/35/20's in the rear so that I could keep the stock wheels for a while longer---to me this pretty much seems to be the max without overstretching the rubber. Paid $273 per for the fronts and $343 for the rears including tax, which is a good deal IMO.

Spring can't come soon enough now

Got the permanent Germany registration!

*The shipping company damaged the splitter. So I need to go to an Opel dealer to have them order it and file a claim. No biggie.

Some pretty big mice in that shipping container. Hungry, too.

I don't know which one I dislike more...the hole in the splitter or the front plate (having to be on the car). BTW, big fan of the SS 1LEs.

Welcome to Bitburg. Why did you get such a big plate in front. As an member of the ASAF you can have a small one.

Getting a small front plate requires an Exception to Policy through higher up channels. Not worth the hassle.
