Crush is not metallic but it is a pure orange and quite attractive. I owned a 2010 2SS that was Inferno Orange Metallic which had a lot of gold metallic in it. It was a rich hue that was truly spectacular in the sun. Crush is a fine replacement but not quite as luxurious.

Many of us would disagree that the non-metallic Crush is nicer then any metallic orange!!!

Understood. To each his own. I've had both and like both as long as it's a true orange hue.

I specifically like that Crush is non metallic. It’s a nod to Hugger Orange with a old school feel to it.

Orange knee pads (or brace, as some call it) from the Hot Wheels--does anyone know the official GM part number for it?

You have to contact GM with your VIN I believe to get it as I don't think you can purchase this on the market otherwise.

Wild hammer had them for sale. Just does not post the SKU number. I was looking to see how much dealers charge.

If you found them on Wildhammer then that’s the way to go. Dealer’s will most likely be higher.

Installation is a breeze BTW.

Many of us would agree to disagree too.

I waited 2 years for this color and metallic would have totally screwed it up.

This paint is exactly Hugger other than one is water borne and the other is lacquer borne.

Waited until better promotions came out and finally they did. 0% for 72 months and dealer discounts so I’m joining the hot wheels club tomorrow. They’ve had this one for a while. It’s sat so long the battery is dead so they’re replacing that. I had a 2010 IOM, 2014 black, 2016 HBM, and now going back to orange!

Is that the lone 6 speed manual convertible in TN? I followed it for awhile but chose a higher optioned 8 speed.

2018 Hot Wheels Edition guys:
Is your Manual transmission shift knob and boot covered with suede or leather?
And is your steering wheel covered with suede or leather?

I am trying to replace at least some of this "suede" interior with leather pieces.
If I can get black leather with orange stitching for these, it would be a start.

I am about to order the orange kneepads from Wildhammer.
