No one races dynos, but an e.t. slip is the real answer.

Without a stock baseline the final # is pretty pointless

37*F with no correction factor and a m6? Yeah probably right.... but you are cheating yourself unless you race in 37* weather

STD is still a correction factor but will read 10-12rw higher than SAE. But it isn't UNCORRECTED. I must say I am not a fan of operator input dyno's. But they seem to be very good tuning tools vs the normal DJ. Even if these numbers were UNCORRECTED in that weather they wouldn't be that high on a DJ. UNCORRECTED in that weather with your mods could get you to near or at 500rw but the correction factor should be .95-.96. The most I have ever made FBO on a DJ in 6th through an A8 was like 498rw SAE. The M6 will put down a bit more power than an A8. Like the others said, track mph calculated with weight and DA will tell the real story.

I think you guys are under estimating the cold air. I used a calc and entered 37deg, 20% humidity and 31.006 in/hg(105kpa) and it kicked out a sae correction of .892

525 * .892 = 468hp

edit: I just looked up some weather around that date in that area. 30.3 in/hg and more like 50% humidity along with the 37deg are more realistic numbers. that gives a .919 sae correction.

525 * .919 = 482hp

You can just take it to different shop if you like to know. Just run same gear on dyno.

I’m nowhere near this shop nor would I take it there.

I want these customers to see the difference; nobody has a baseline to compare as no LT1 with basic bolt on’s is making that much power that’s being promoted.

Gains vs. Dyno #’s

There is the truth............ good post.
I can't get to terribly excited over dyno numbers, its a tool nothing more nothing less.

Wit a stock throttle and a unported msd manifold i got 469whp on 80% humidity and 85F, thru an auto, the stock baseline was 385whp, i would expect around 480whp wit your mods
