One thing about all of the 6th gens is that you really have to seem them in person , especially the 2019 refresh because in photos the front end looks huge and out of sorts but in person they lose that look . I think the 2019 has the most aggressive look of the 6th gens , and its great seeing the new owners showing up here .

Yep gotta see them in person because the shape and curves just aren’t seen fully in pics. Nice to see the community grow as well.

In person, looks a bit better. I like the smoked tail lights on the 16 to 18, but for the 19s gotta be red, charcoal & black look best on the SS's. Those colors minimize the jarring black bar look.

There is an orange SS on dealer corner lot on pedestal for almost 4 weeks, moved position once (3 cars on pedestal). I think that's a good indicator.

No way imo, its ugly now and not selling worth a damn and unpopular, it will be the same thing 50 yrs from now.... ugly and no one buying and thats coming from a chevy guy thru and thru.

So only positive commentary is allowed? Are we in preschool? This kind of attitude let the Aztek make production.

The 2nd Gen RS Split Bumper Camaros wasn't accepted well or sold very well either and look where they are now , i believe the 6th Gen Camaro will have a great following in the future no matter what year , as long as its a V8 .

I own a 2019 as well, i love it, finally broke in the 1500 miles and now able to enjoy it to the fullest. The only down side i would say isnt the look but the performance. I dont know if its my driving with the manual but when i try to put the gas pedal to the floor it dosnt go right away like my pontiac g8 did (usually around 1500rpms when trying to do this). With my G8 if i pressed the pedal (automatic) it would go like i wanted it to go but with the 2SS it feels bogged.
If you are cruising at 1500 rpm and hit the gas, you aren't going anywhere unless you downshift. It's a manual! Try rolling on the highway at around 45mph in 5th gear, then downshift to 3rd and hit the gas. Let us know what happens

Shame though, the 6th gens are great performers. Maybe there is something that links initial reaction to an unveil vs sale figures?
By the same token, the average transaction price is way up for the 6th gen, about $3000 when compared to Mustangs and Challengers across all trim levels. GM doesn't have to sell as many to make a profit. Additionally, the Alpha chassis is spread across 3 vehicles. That's going to help reduce how much they have to make on each vehicle.
