Owners Manual Cover

I took delivery of my car last night 2019 ZL1 1LE. I went out tonight to grab the owners manual and was surprised to find it in a plastic bag with out a cover or something for all of it to go into. My question is this normal or should I have some type of pouch or cover for the manuals?

Unfortunately they come in a cheap zippered plastic bag. Even my Silverado came with a nice case. Chevrolet, “Don’t get cheap on me Dodson.”

my GMC truck 2018 Denali came with a "leather" cover figure it was just missing. Hard to believe they only use the cheap plastic bag but I guess if you can save $1.00 for all the cars being build that is a good amount of money.

Must admit i would have figured you would get a nice case to hold the manuals. But if they are saving money on a manual case im not going to complain for the fact that it is alot of car and performance for the money.

I just picked up a used ZLE from a Mercedes dealership this weekend & the salesman told me that the manuals didn’t come in any kind of cover so they threw it in a Mercedes leathe cover for me

Mine came with a very nice leather (or pleather???) folding cover...with pouches for dealer business cards and reg papers. Also got two very nice leather/metal keychains with the Chevy bowtie and dealer info. Not sure if the pouch was dealer or factory...but very nice none-the-less.

My dealer delivered the car in pristine shape...with no mechanical issues. I felt it was excellent service. Plus...l get free for life oil changes at the manual recommended mileage....

It does make a difference going through a quality dealership.

That was 100% dealer. This is what Chevy puts the manuals in at the factory:

There's no room in the glove box for anything as big as a leather cover OVER the manual. LOL

I thought it was a motion sickness bag, required in high G force applications....and someone slipped the manuals in there.

I recently flew to the east coast and rented a Cadillac XT5 or something like that. It had a nice leather cover that read "Cadillac" on it. I now have a nice leather cover that reads "Cadillac" on it and Hertz does not. Fits perfectly in the glove box.
