Makes no sense to me, but there seems to be evidence that PDR and rear-view camera are mutually exclusive. |

There must be some owners who can validate this?

The rear view camera is STANDARD on the 2SS and ZL1. Add 1LE and you lose it. Forward Collision Alert is STANDARD on 2SS and ZL1. It's also an option on the 3LT It's Deleted when Performance data and video recorder is ordered. |

This is how I understood it. Order my 2019 ZL1 none 1le with pdr. Still has the rear view mirror/camarra, but no collision alert.

Forward collision alert camera is mounted on the front windshield near the rear view mirror base in a forward facing position, this is eliminated when you order the ALSO forward facing PDR camera recorder system. They both fight for the same real-estate is the probable reason for this option/delete. The rear view mirror camera is mounted on the center stanchion post for the SS/ZL1 spoiler but like glee stated above, the taller ZL1 1LE stanchion post spoiler does away with this option. The backup camera is located above the license plate area and is displayed on the radio head unit infotainment screen and this is standard on all Camaro's which some are confusing with the rear view mirror camera option above.
