Camaro noob here.... A question

This is my first Camaro.... im from the Mustang world. I just got a 2019 2SS with the NPP exhaust. I want it a little louder without changing factory mufflers. What are my options?

Are you willing to dig into the exhaust at all?

Pulling Fuse #51 keeps the NPP valves open 100% of the time. Also pulling the foam out of the sound tube. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=501964

If these free easy mods don't do the trick, you will need to start modding the exhaust by deleting the secondary cats with a Borla 60606 or having an exhaust shop weld in pipes in their place. You can combine this with an axle back of your choice. There are options available that retain NPP. They can get rather pricey.

A lot of people go straight to headers for more volume and actual performance increase but these require a tune and will void your warranty.

Depends on how much you want to change. Like others have said, you can go as far as changing headers, cat deletes etc. Basically getting a whole new aftermarket exhaust while youre at it. You can try simple things first like an x-pipe resonator delete. Thats easily reversible if you dont like it.

Pulling the F51 fuse helps, and you can go back if you ever need to. After a few thousand miles and/or a few trips on the highway, they get louder. You get more soot on the outside pipes since most of the exhaust comes out there.

Welcome.

I've moved your thread to 'Engine/Exhaust/Bolt-ons'

Electric cutouts. Any will do, you don't need the ridiculous $400 ones. They're basically muffler delete you can close when you need too or adjust the volume by partially opening them. I suggest adding after the xpipe right before the NPP case, don't do it before the crossover like most people think it should be or it'll sound gross.

Louder inside or outside? If you want to hear the exhaust a little more, leave the backseat down.
