Can't see the Heads-Up Display if seated too high up??

So I prefer to be seated somewhat higher up in the driver's seat, but to be clear my head is still maybe 1-2 inches from touching the roof still. Yet at this height the top half of the HUD is already blocked, I adjust the position of the HUD as low as I can and its still half blocked. Is this the same for everyone or is my HUD just messed up? I'm not actually tall so I can go lower (though I really don't want to compromise like that), but I'd have to imagine tall people know what I mean if this is a common problem???

I have an inch or less of headroom and I see mine fine after adjusting it. My seat is back almost all the way. Perhaps the seat distance plus eye height matters.

Can't stand how everyone always jacks the seats up as far as they'll go in our fleet vehicles at work. If there's one constant, it's that the seat is always jacked up as high as it can go, steering wheel is tilted up as far as it'll go, and mirrors are adjusted to be redundant with the rear view mirror. Every. Single. Time.

Have you tried tilting the seat back more?

Without being in your car and knowing what your setting angle is no here going to know for sure.
Easiest thing to do and quickest is to just go by a dealership and get into another Camaro with heads up and put the seat in the same position and compare. If yours is defective you can show the service writer and get yours repaired

I agree, check out another at the dealership. I'm tall and have very little headroom and have no problem adjusting the HUD to see it. Sounds like you may have an issue.

I also have problems with HUD. He was too high since the production. Height adjustment ranged around +/- 3mm. So practically useless. Now after hibernation, the HUD retreated into the silicon sky. I wondered why the HUD is so high, whether I grew up or why ?? I saw him before, even though it was on the edge. So I played with the height adjustment for a while. Finally, my HUD display went up somewhere and I can't adjust. Again it moves only about 3mm. But to see him, I have to look completely from the seat through the hole in the steering wheel. I will have to service it, as the car is under warranty.

This... This is the most annoying thing I find about people.
