Weather is a factor for pony cars. Sales Persons are not properly trained to sell Hot Rods, 5% of total sales for Ford at least. Trucks & SUV's are the hot tickets because of low gas prices. 93 octane on the coastal bend yesterday was $2.33 a gal! Yee Haw!

35-40% of mustang sales are fleet and that was 2 years ago before GM cut a lot of theirs. I wouldn't be surprised if the number was close to 45% now.

I believe last year a member here by the name of MEDISIN posted that Mustang Fleet sales for the year were around 27%.

But we don't even know if these numbers are accurate so guess it doesn't really matter lol

I do agree with the weather affecting sales, but that would be for every muscle/sports car. Even then living in AZ, these weather conditions aren't seen here yet I have not seen one MY19. When the MY16 came out, by February 2016, I saw enough on the road to know that people like the model. People need to realize that most of the buyers aren't on forums/social media reading these comments towards the 2019, so they wouldn't be steered away by the comments although the MY19 got bashed so much that no one wants to be seen with it. Only way I see Chevy getting back in the game is to offer that 25% off tag like they did in late Q4 of 2016.

Attacks structure of a sentence and spelling but doesn’t give a decent argument to my post, typical. I generally find those against the wall, either gain from a porous border, have no skin ($) in the game or a taker in someway.

As long as they make enough $’s on the sales of Camaros to keep producing them, I’m glad. To me, the ZL1 is the best of the competitions top offerings.

AND the wx nationwide. I drove from Florida to Md. to trade for my Camaro and on 1/2,it was 43 degrees when I picked it up. Turns out that was warm.
That dealer has sold 2 Camaros since I bought mine and they still have 25 more.

It was a GM decision to stop selling to fleets. They must know what they are doing, LOL
