Try starting the car with the garage door closed. It helps a lot.

my car is in the garage, I start the car in the garage with the door closed then open it and pull away, I try to ease into it but they still seem to complain

Damn sounds like some retired folks just wanting to complain. A motorcycle is probably louder than that. You are being nice by starting your car in the garage and driving away slowly with out getting on it. You would think that would be good.
I have never heard the Corsa Extreme in person is it that loud? I am currently in the market just curious

What time do you leave in the AM. I have a teenage neighbor with a v8 Tundra straight piped. The cold start at 5AM startles me awake and basically ruins my mood for the rest of the day. It's worse when it is open windows weather, and still worse during winter with his remote start and 20 min idle to warm it up.

I live in a subdivision with brick fascias..I enter stealth mode upon entering, and also start mine in stealth with the door down. Id absolutely LOVE a loud exhaust, but I dont live in the appropriate housing schema to do so. If I lived on 2 acres, hells yes..

Ever considered a borla or stainless works catback? Just thinking of options here...might could work up a trade with someone and not be out any money. I too think the stock exhaust just isn't loud enough, but want to keep the valves operational as to not have the same issue you are.

I had borla on my ss and loved it, but went with corsa this time for a different sound, if someone was willing to trade I would consider it.
