Wrong, Because I tried to install your 95mm TB & got 5 CEL's, when I put the stock TB back on & cleared the codes everything was perfect. Also you sent me an email that said the Tick Performance 95mm throttle body will need a tune. So now I can't use it until I get a tune & my Roto-Fab did not give me any CEL's. Also my ported intake for a 95mm TB did not give any CEL's either.

Do you have a link just for the ported 95mm throttle body?

The throttle body in the test is the non ported tb. So that is why itworked with no tune

that is my understanding also, unported 95mm. I don't think porting the intake would change the need for a tune. Would get better results tuned.

My mistake, thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was his ported 95mm TB.
Now that makes more since when I reinstall it with my tune.

Yeah it’s confusing because they’re all modified by cnc the bolt holes but you have the option between ported and not

Yup, mine is the Tick 95mm ported TB. It will be going on a Pray ported IM & the opening is for a 95mm TB, tuned by Jannetty Racing.

Sounds like a leak. Did you use locktite? Did you give it 24hrs to dry?

How old were your gaskets? What’s the cel?

Also when you guys store these off the car, it doesn’t look like a good idea to leave the parimeter bolts tight. Like most mention, it opens the corners with a gap, giving it a real wavey shape, until you install on the engine. then they close up and it flattens out.
It makes sense to keep the perimeter bolts loose like delivered until you’re about to install. If you leave it in that state for too long, Itll warped.
Crazy they don’t mention that in the instructions

Definitely a leak somewhere, it's sucking in extra air at idle.

I missed the lock tight direction... which bolts? Gaskets were about 2k old. Dont have a reader for the cel yet. And definitely didn’t give this thing 24 hrs ti dry

Per GM, Blue locktite on the bolts into the heads at minimum. Idk about the others.

I’m pretty sure locktite directions say 24hrs so I’d follow it for these bolts, as they’re known to loosen.

This is why I hate the plastic POS on our cars. Why can't someone make an alumium IM? Then you don't need locktite or the wimmpy rubber gaskets.
