Thanks for all the help. Looks like I am good to go.

I am going to attempt the roho sniper diff mod where you put some pins in it to help it hold up. I will take some pics when I get going on it.

Just to finish off the discussion...

The top picture is the V8 coupe differential with cooler lines and the lower picture is the SS convertible differential without cooler lines (or any provision to add them).

My 1SS has the same lines, but is just a coupe, not a 'vert. The mechanic and I stared at this feature, and took note of the lines.
So where it's shown as showing up on just the ZL doesn't really apply to all models.

The SS coupe comes with all the coolers (higher capacity engine cooling system with 2 aux radiators, engine oil cooler, trans cooler, differential cooler).

Why would the coupe get the cooler and not the convert?

I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to not run it hard. My guess is all the extra bracing on a vert there is no way to run the lines.

The SS convertible front grill has the outer edges blocked off (that would feed the outboard aux radiators). I'm guessing they don't expect convertible owners to track their cars (you'd need an aftermarket rollcage to do so, I believe) so they don't spend the $$$ on the track hardware.

I have another question. Do the verts have the down facing trans cooler? If they do then the trans lines for the vert should be a clean way to get rid of the lines going to the back.
